Tenant Resources

Gain information on tenant rights and responsibilities, tailored to help renters function independently in the private, non-subsidized housing market. There are many resources available on the Housing Consumer Education Center website. The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office provides an excellent resource guide for tenant and landlords. One-on-one counseling is also available from HRA.

If you have questions about state sanitary code please contact your local Board of Health. Your town website will have contact information.
