The Ashfield House is an historic, eighteen unit, four-story wood-frame building located in downtown Ashfield with one, two, and three bedroom units. Upper-story units are accessible by stairs. A full coin-op laundromat in the building is available to residents and the general public. The property is located within walking distance of small businesses and services including restaurants, convenience stores, churches, and the post office.
The Ashfield House has units set aside for households at a range of income levels. A household must make no more than 80% AMI (see Income Eligibility Chart) to qualify for a unit at the Ashfield House.
Rent for seven units at this property are subsidized by the Project Based Housing Choice Voucher program and three units are subsidized by Project Based Massachusetts Rental Voucher program. Both programs are administered through the Franklin County Regional Housing & Redevelopment Authority.
